Hōkan-ji Temple

Kyoto, the former capital of Japan and located in the Kansai region, it is home to over 2,000 temples and shrines. Hokan-Ji, also known as the Yasaka Padoga, dates back to 589 is 46 metres tall and five stories high. Yasaka perfectly showcases traditional Japanese craftsmanship, and given that it is earthquake resistant, it is also considered a feat of historic architectural design in its practicality.
